Traditional interior paintings have historically depicted opulence and grandeur to convey social status. Similarly, my digital 3D rendered images play with notions of class and desire in a contemporary setting. Through composition and curated aesthetics, I explore how notions of class are constructed and communicated in the digital age of Instagram, where access to technology and the ability to curate one's online personas have become new markers of social status. By publishing digitally created images that convincingly depict one real home, I challenge the viewer's perception of reality and the authenticity of images in the age of social media. The blurring of boundaries between the virtual and the real not only speaks to the power of the image to shape our perceptions but also makes us question authenticity in the curated lifestyles often portrayed online.

Allt the images below is 3D-rendered images created in Sketchup and Enscape.
